Prayer Request

mom_3

On Thursday, August 23, 2007, my family and I faced one of the most difficult experiences imaginable, the death of my mom. Needless to say, my family and I are devastated, but I know we can trust in the Lord Jesus Christ (God) for comfort and refuge. Would you please pray for us? Please especially pray that the Lord will use this situation to bring us closer to Him and that He would use me as a witness to the lost. No calls are necessary, as we are not in much of a mood to speak. I keep sifting through all of the 'could've, would've, and should've' situations in my head, but I know, ultimately, if the Lord wanted my mom alive, then she would still be at this moment. I am not sure of the reason that the Lord took my mom from us, but I have already taken many things from this trying time and made the decision to give my life entirely to God. It is my sincerest desire that His will be done. Please visit the website below.
Thank you so much. God bless.

Update...

It has been more than two months since I’ve last updated, so I suppose it’s time to do so, once again. I would just like to thank everyone for their comments and prayers – I greatly appreciate them.

As surprising as it may sound, nothing really new has taken place since my last update. School continues to get better, and for such, I give all honor, glory, and praise unto God; however, continued prayer is desired.

Well, attempting to lengthen this entry any more would prove difficult for me, so I will go ahead and end it soon. I hope everyone is doing well, and I will certainly be praying for you guys. God bless.

I can do all things through Christ...

Hmmm…it’s really that time of year again, isn’t it??? Time to return to the lovely classroom. I wasn’t ready for the summer break to come to an end, but for some reason it always does . I need to do well this year and cannot be as lazy as I have in times past, but God is good, and I know He will help me (Phil 4:13). Please pray for me, and I will certainly return the favor. God bless.

Congratulations C/O 2006!!!

Not long ago, the Class of 2006 walked across the platform and received diplomas for years of hard work. I would just like to tell every graduate congratulations. Now that you are passing from one stage of your lives to another, you will be confronted with many difficult decisions. Don’t waste your lives…make the most of the opportunities presented to you. Place your complete trust in God to guide you where He wants you to be. If you do, you will be successful no matter what life throws your way. Remember, the true purpose of our being is to please the Lord God (Revelation 4:11)…so do that .
